How to Undo a Repost on TikTok

Reposted something by accident? Here’s how to undo a single TikTok repost in seconds, what happens when you do, and how to clean up many reposts at once.

Accidental reposts happen to everyone. The Repost button sits right in the share menu, and one wrong tap puts a video on your profile. The good news is that undoing it is quick.

Undo a repost from the video

  1. Find the video you reposted. You can open it from your Reposts tab on your profile.

  2. Tap the Share button on the right side of the screen.

  3. Tap Remove repost.

That’s it. The video is removed from your Reposts tab right away.

What happens when you undo a repost

  • The video disappears from your profile’s Reposts tab.

  • The creator’s original video stays exactly as it was.

  • The creator isn’t sent a notification that you removed it.

  • You can repost the same video again later if you want.

Undoing lots of reposts

The steps above are fine for one or two videos. If you need to undo dozens or hundreds, the one-by-one method gets tedious fast. EraseTok: Repost Remover lets you select many reposts and remove them together, so a cleanup that would take an hour is done in seconds.

Clear your repost trail, on your terms.

Download EraseTok: Repost Remover for iPhone and take back control of what your profile shows.
